Please note that half day bookings are only available for 4 year olds.
Camp notes
What to bring:
It is essential that your child comes properly dressed for a day of outside fun at Forest Tales. Please make sure that your child’s clothing and food comes in a suitable backpack.
We do tie dye every day, so remember to pack something white to dye and a plastic bag to keep it in. If you’re bringing something new, please wash it first otherwise the dye doesn’t stick to the material.
Cold or Wet Days
Warm clothing, in layers so that your child can add or take off layers to stay comfortable.
• Hat and gloves
• Waterproofs – coat and trousers
• Suitable footwear, extra footwear (wellies) if your child wants to do some puddle jumping!
• Spare socks
Warm Days
• Layers of light clothing
• Sun hat
• Applied sun cream and insect repellent
• Suitable footwear – no open toe shoes
Food and Drink
Your children will be outside and active all day, so please pack them a suitable nut-free lunch and additional snacks. Please also pack a bottle of water, which we can refill at our site.
Medication
If your children need medication then please remember to tell us and to bring it with you. It’s up to you to make sure we know any relevant medical conditions, and to bring appropriate amounts of any medication required. If your child suffers from asthma, please ensure they have an inhaler. If your child suffers from anaphylaxis and carries an EpiPen, please ensure that they come with two EpiPens. We will refuse to accept children who don’t have sufficient medicine, for their own safety. Please hand over all medication to staff at drop off.
